Miss Nelson, and Her Dreaded Replacement, Show Up to Haunt a New Generation of Children

Flat Rock Playhouse, the State Theatre of North Carolina, enriches lives through the art of theatre by nurturing talent, inspiring creativity, and encouraging growth. Founded in 1952, their mission builds on the Vagabond legacy of excellence in production, education, life-long learning, and a unique family bond that extends to its community of patrons, supporters, and partners – the Vagabond family spirit.

On Friday, November 9th, Flat Rock Playhouse will be showing the live production of Miss Nelson is Missing! In this play, Miss Nelson can’t control her crazy classroom because she’s just too nice. But when she disappears, her replacement is the hard-as-nails, detention-loving, recess-canceling, homework-overloading substitute teacher Viola Swamp!

With the Big Test approaching, the kids suddenly realize how much they miss Miss Nelson and they’ll do anything—including hiring a private eye—to solve the mystery of her disappearance and bring her back. We welcome audience members of all ages to join us for this show!

At South Ridge Apartments in Greenville, South Carolina, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
