See Through the Eyes of Victoria Wyeth at The Greenville County Museum of Art

See the inspirational artist Andrew Wyeth like never before at the brand-new exhibition at the Greenville County Museum of Art. This special collection marks the centennial of Andrew Wyeth’s birth, and celebrates his unique artistic achievements in the creative dynasty of the Wyeth family, all through the fascinating viewpoint of his granddaughter, Victoria Wyeth.

The show, entitled “Victoria Wyeth: My Andy,” offers an intimate look into the life of Andrew Wyeth, as photographed by his only grandchild, Victoria Wyeth. The exhibition features black-and-white film photographs taken from 1993 to 2013 at the Wyeth homes in Pennsylvania and Maine. This intimate display of photographs will run in conjunction with the GCMA’s exhibition “Wyeth Dynasty,” which showcases the museum’s large collection of Andrew Wyeth’s watercolors, temperas, and drawings, as well as works by Jamie Wyeth, N.C. Wyeth, and Andrew’s sisters, Carolyn and Henriette Wyeth. “Victoria Wyeth: My Andy” gives guests a rare context and touching perspective of this monumental art figure, and is a special showing you won’t want to miss.
